SPRINGFIELD – Ronald W. Brown, Jr., 69, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born May 20, 1955 to Ronald W. and Shirley M. (Jones) Brown, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Karen Sue Armour.

Ronald was a countertop maker for J & W Countertops. He enjoyed working in the yard and helping his mother and sister with yardwork and household chores.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley; siblings, Vickey (Eric) Hickman, Rick (Alora) Brown and Kimberly Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2024, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Kroft officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
