SPRINGFIELD, IL – Ronald R. Cottrill, 61, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born November 17, 1960, to Perry and Norma Jean (Wahlsmith) Cottrill; both of whom preceded him in death.

Ronald was employed by Bunn-o-Matic for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed racing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock music, especially KISS.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Cottrill and Kelley Cottrill; grandchildren, Hayleigh Cottrill and Aiden O'Neill; brother, Jimmy Cottrill; sister, Margie Cottrill; and several nieces and nephews, including Josh Cottrill.

Per Ronald's request, cremation rites will be accorded. Private family inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
