SPRINGFIELD – Rosie Lee Douglas, lovingly known as "Auntie" and "Tee-Tee" peacefully died on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born July 7, 1918 to Sam William and Ida (Stover) Woods.

She married Clifford Douglas affectionately known as "Tiny" in 1972. He and her infant son preceded her in death.

Among those who survive Rosie are her two brothers, Sam Woods (Linda) and Willie Woods (Betty). She leaves behind several generations of nieces and nephews.

Rosie was a devoted member of Jehovah's Witnesses; her faith was an integral part of her life. Throughout her years, Rosie worked as a housekeeper and later caring for children as a babysitter.

A Memorial Talk will be presented virtually via Zoom on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
