Roxie
Murphy
d. Mar 5, 2025
Springfield
February 23, 2019 Roxanne Murphy found her forever home with her parents and sister, Penny. She crossed the rainbow bridge on March 5, 2025 and was eagerly greeted by her sister (and best friend), aunt and uncles that passed before her.
Roxie is survived by her mother and father, Emily and Riley Murphy; little brother, Mason; Grandma and Grandpa, Cathy and Todd Hammond; aunt, Sarah Hammond; puppy cousin, Alana Hammond; Grammy and Grampy, Adrienne and Brian Murphy; and uncle, Jack Murphy.
Roxie was a sweet and spunky girl with a passion for summer. She would spend hours basking in the sun, going for golf cart rides, walking with her family and boat rides. Roxie would sit at the edge of the dock and patiently wait until it was boat time. She loved nothing more than a quiet summer day on the lake with everyone she loves exploring the lake from a boat.
Roxie was such a fashionable girl with an affinity for clothing. She had her own closet stuffed full with sweaters and dresses. She loved each outfit she wore and would get angry if she wasn't dressed up. She had an outfit for every occasion and rocked everything she wore with such confidence and sass.
Above all else, Roxie loved her family. She lived and breathed for her family. Especially her sister, Penny. Those two played and hung out every day. She looked up to Penny and did everything she could to protect everyone she loved. She was a fiercely loyal girl who would do anything for her family. They were the most important thing to her and there's not a thing they could have wanted or asked that she wouldn't do.
