SPRINGFIELD, IL – Ruth A. Miller, 68, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born November 6, 1952, to Jesse and Ellen (Hayes) Miller. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Miller; her parents; brothers, Thomas Miller, Clifford Miller and LaMaurice Miller.

Ruth worked as a certified nursing assistant for Addus HomeCare for over 30 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Tanya Miller and Benetta Miller; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jack Miller, Jesse Miller and Paul Miller; 3 sisters, Virginia Miller, Mary Jo Miller and Lorna Trevino; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
