SPRINGFIELD, IL – Sam Pulliam, 71, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born May 24, 1946, to Louis "Pete" and Lucille (Stringfield) Pulliam, both of whom preceded him in death.

Sam was an area manager for McDonalds and Wendy's and retired from the State of Illinois. He enjoyed cars, especially MOPAR. He was an avid Bears and Cardinals fan and a fan of actor Steve McQueen.

He is survived by his children, Todd (Lottie) Pulliam, Brad (Jayme) Pulliam and Erin Pulliam (Mike Fuiten); and two grandchildren, Kingston and Faye.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
