ATHENS, IL – Sandra K. "Sandy" Hamilton, 49, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Memorial Hospice at Heritage.

She was born April 25, 1969, to Joe and Betty (Dawson) Rathbone; both of whom preceded her in death.

Sandy was employed as a CNA with Concordia Village. She enjoyed gardening and loved frogs and her dogs.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Hamilton and Candice (Kirby) Oller; grandchildren, Sophia, Allison, Zayden and Bryzzo; siblings, Bruce, Connie, Donnie, Timmy and Jimmy; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. with a gathering immediately following from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Concordia Village Chapel.
