SPRINGFIELD – Sandra Kay Miles, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 15, 1941 to William and Sarah Kathryn (Caulk) Mayberry. She married W. Paul Miles on September 26, 1964 in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and sisters, JoAnn Parker and Karen Spurgeon.

Sandy was formerly employed as a hairdresser with VIP West and Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She later retired from St. John's Hospital as a CNA. She cherished all of the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Mike (Michelle) Miles and Scott Miles (Breanne Larson); grandchildren, Jack Miles, Natalie Miles, Madison Miles and Braden Larson; brother, Bill Mayberry; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
