SPRINGFIELD, IL – Sarah Kristine McGee, 30, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2022, at her home.

She was born in Springfield on August 21, 1991.

Sarah was employed with the Orthopedic Center of Illinois as an emergency triage coordinator for orthopedic surgery.

She is survived by her parents, John McGee and Carlene Pappas; brother, Joshua McGee; grandmother, Marlene Pappas; her beloved dog, Ernie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Sarah was welcomed into Heaven by her grandparents, PFC James McGee, Norma McGee, MSG Louis Pappas, Jr. and her beloved cousin, Alex Mack.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Clint Cook officiating.
