Sharlene "Shar" Dolan, 73, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at her home.

She was born December 7, 1949 to Ann Squires Dolan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Rodgerson; and siblings, Shirley Lowe, Gene Dolan, Sharon Hayes and Delmar Dolan.

Shar worked as a hairdresser for 51 years. She was a volunteer at Animal Protective League and enjoyed flower gardening, feeding birds, bird watching and bowling.

She is survived by her companion, Gary Ramsey and his family including son, Josh (Heidi) Ramsey; granddaughter, Hannah; nephew, Heath Ramsey; and brother, Charles "Chuck" Ramsey; several nieces and nephews, including Shelley (Tim) Hodges, David (Debbie) Hayes, Mark (Robin) Hayes and Scott Hayes; and several great-nieces and nephews, including Shannon (Tim) Rodgers, Robert Ferry, Jr., Brianna Banning and Robert Banning.

Private family services were held.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Animal Protective League.
