SPRING BRANCH, TX – Sharon A. Frothingham, 78, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, at her home.

She was born June 14, 1947, to Hubert and Rose (Stolleis) Dalton, both of whom preceded her in death. She married her true love, Channing Frothingham III on November 10, 1967, in Decatur, IL.

Sharon lived a life defined by love, devotion, and quiet strength. She dedicated herself fully to her family, embracing her role as a wife and mother with unwavering commitment and care. Her home was not just a place, but a foundation of support, warmth, and belonging for all who entered it.

She was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, faithfully supporting their activities, cheering them on, and celebrating every milestone—big or small. Her presence was constant, her encouragement steady, and her love unconditional.

Beyond her family, she gave generously of her time through volunteer work and found joy in building meaningful connections with others. Alongside dear friends, she pursued various side ventures, bringing not only her strong work ethic but also laughter and companionship to everything she did.

She had a love for travel and treasured every opportunity to visit with family and friends, creating lasting memories wherever she went. Whether near or far, she made people feel seen, welcomed, and valued.

At home, she was truly unmatched—an expert organizer, a master of laundry, and someone who found pride in caring for the everyday details that made life run smoothly. These acts, though often quiet, were powerful expressions of her love.

She was loyal, loving, and truly a stranger to no one. Her kindness extended easily to others, and she had a gift for making people feel welcome, cared for, and loved.

Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless lives she touched with her generosity and heart.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered, now reunited with her loving husband, Chan, of 48 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny (Stephen) Chasko and Tammy (Scott) Wambles; grandchildren, DeShea (William) Cardin, Channing Chasko, Dalton Wambles, and Brayden Wambles. She is also survived by her loving grand dogs, Allie Belle, Daisy Mae, and Ginger.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
