MORRISONVILLE, IL - Shawn Michael Harris, 47, of Morrisonville, Ill., formerly of Taylorville, Ill., passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill.

He was born November 12, 1973, in Springfield, the son of Don and Cherilyn (née Harvell) Harris. He graduated from Taylorville High School with the Class of 1991. Shawn is survived by his father and step-mother, Don and Terri Harris of Bonita Springs, Fla.; mother, Cherilyn Mundhenke of Morrisonville, Ill.; step-sister, Dawn Dewey of North Carolina; uncle, Robert Harris of Orlando, Fla.; aunts, Christine Harvell Manzi of Henderson, Nev., Melissa (Mark) Harvell Randolph of Pueblo, Colo., Kathleen Harvell-Hemmer of Blodgett, Ore. and Karen Harvell of Taylorville, Ill.; many cousins and other extended family.

Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home in Springfield will be handling arrangements. Shawn's final wishes will be honored with cremation and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
