SPRINGFIELD – Tara K. Sezer, 47, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at St. John's Hospital.

Born on November 3, 1977, to Joseph and Pamela (Downey) Rainis, she was preceded in death by her father.

Tara was a dedicated care management specialist in the Utilization Review Department at St. John's Hospital for the past three years. She was an avid television and film buff, with a special love for the history of the Titanic. Tara cherished her time with her nephews, doting on them with love and affection.

She is survived by her mother, Pamela Rainis; her brother, Adam Rainis, and his wife Jenna; and her beloved nephews, Christian and Sebastian.

Private family services will be held.

In honor of Tara's love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
