SPRINGFIELD – Thomas "Tom" F. Earl, 76, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at home.

He was born June 27, 1944, to Herbert and Nora (Filken) Earl. He married Arlene "Kay" Enloe on January 17, 1970 in Springfield.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and nine siblings, Charles, Lula Mae, George, William, Donald, James, Joed, Clarence and Russell.

Tom was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for the City of Springfield Street Department for 25 years and after retirement, worked as a delivery driver for Alpha Omega.  He was a member of American Legion Post 32 and volunteered at Easter Seals, Children's Miracle Network and Special Olympics.  He enjoyed NASCAR and watching his grandson play baseball.  Tom was onery, willing to help, there when you needed him and always had a compliment for a lovely lady.  His family and grandkids were most important to him.

He is survived by his children, Becky (Joe) Dinora of Edinburg and their two sons, Dustin and Dylan, Leslie (David) Jennings of Springfield and their son, Andrew, and Krisi (Les) Teubner of Georgia and children, Tommy, Kayla and Lucas; sisters, Margaret (Alex) Klunick of Decatur and Janet Esper of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A social distancing graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
