SPRINGFIELD, IL – Thomas H. Gifford, 81, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.

He was born May 29, 1936, to Franklin and Helen (Ackerman) Gifford. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William.

Tom was formerly employed by the Lake Club. He was a wonderful caregiver and never met a stranger. He had an infectious sense of humor.

He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Duncan and Betty Gehlbach; one nephew and several nieces.

Per Tom's wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
