Thomas Webb Neal, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at St. John's Hospital.

He was born October 23, 1942 to George and Mamie (Webb) Neal. He married Cheryl Lynn Rice on May 15, 1965 in Litchfield. She preceded him in death on January 11, 2025. He was also preceded by his parents and his stepmother, Ruth (Carver) Neal, who, along with Mamie, lovingly raised him; and a brother, William "Randy" Randolph, Jr.

Tom retired from the State of Illinois. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Motor Boat Club, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Shriner's. He enjoyed golfing, was a soccer referee and a die-hard Illini basketball fan.

He is survived by his children, Craig (Michelle) Neal and Colleen (Kent) Martin; grandchildren, Caitlin, Jessica, Sarah, Julia, Kobe and Kyler; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Adalyn; sister, Patricia Lanza; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Motor Boat Club with a Masonic service being held at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
