PEKIN – Timothy James Griffin, 70, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025.

He was born October 5, 1955, to James Henry and Dorothy Marie (Fawns) Griffin, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Lethal Fawns; cousins, James Germann and Debbie Germann; and his faithful canine companion, Riley. He married Linda Rodgers on July 15, 2011, in Pekin.

Timothy retired from Caterpillar after 35 years of service and was currently employed at Morton Industries as a material handler. He was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse. Tim loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Jamie Stallion, Teresa (Jason) Pagan and Jessie (Ramon) Boaze; stepchildren, Justin (Samantha) Rodgers and Melissa (Eddie) Rodgers; grandchildren, Jessica, Cheyenne, Michael, Ellie, Olivia, Nichols, Sloane, Amelia and Penelope; great-grandchildren, Rowan and Maisie; sisters, Teri (Gene) Smith and Toni Grider (Dave Reuter); beloved dog, Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Pentecostal Lighthouse, 1112 N. 16th Street, Pekin, Illinois.
