BRANDON, SD – Timothy Andrew Melton, 58, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at his home.

He was born April 17, 1965 to Lawrence C. Melton, Jr. and Sharon (Norris) Melton.  He married Angela Beard on December 4, 2009. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Basil and Dorothy Norris and Lawrence and Bernice Melton.

Tim was employed as a systems analyst for Presidio Components for 17 years. He was a member of the Good Guys Club and a pool league. He loved to build, remodel and go to the gun range. He was an avid collector of many things, including stamps, beer cans, antique guns and classic MOPAR cars.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; children, Megan Allison, Kendra Allison and Curtis (Ashley) Bradford; five grandsons; three granddaughters; mother, Sharon Melton; father, Lawrence C. Melton, Jr.; sisters, Regina (Nicholas) Albanese and Rebecca Allison; brother, Lawrence C. Melton III; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Mike Harney officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
