SPRINGFIELD – Vickie L. Stamper, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 10, 1954, to Richard and Evelyn (Young) Rapps, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Glynn E. Stamper, Jr. on May 29, 1976. He preceded her in death in 2020.

Vickie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for over 40 years. She belonged to a local bowling league and was a letterboxer and accomplished artist.

She is survived by her daughters, Christina DeRamus, Alyssa Stamper and Erin Cummings; grandchildren, Athena Cummings, Nathaniel Cummings, Ares Cummings, Isabelle DeRamus and Elijah DeRamus; sisters, Sandra Hight and Rita Sprague; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
