SPRINGFIELD, IL – Vicky Lynn Griffith, 62, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at her home.

She was born January 16, 1956, to Lester B. and Calista (Hambuch) Griffith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lester E. Griffith.

Vicky was a manager and bartender at Griff's Place for over 20 years and employed with Meijer as a cashier for 9 years. She was a die hard Cardinal fan, loved being outside with her dog, Gizmo, and enjoyed cooking every Sunday at Griff's Place for the neighborhood. She was a member of D.A.V. auxiliary

She is survived by her companion, Danny Gardner; sons, Carl T. (Jessica) Painter II of Virden and Thomas J. Painter of Springfield; daughter, Charity A. (Mike) Miller of New Port Richey, Florida; six grandchildren, Sgt. Devonte "Scooter" Miller, Braydon Elmore-Painter, Ryder Painter, Kallie Mullett, Carly A. Painter and Lilianna E. Painter; two nephews, Phillip and Jason Griffith and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
