SPRINGFIELD – William Lee Hutchens II, 61, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 3, 1961 to William and Carolyn (Thorne) Hutchens. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother, Duane; and several aunts and uncles.

William was a US Marine Corps veteran and was a member of the American Legion. He was formerly employed by Lake Area Disposal and Sutton Siding. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the American Bowling Congress. He also enjoyed playing softball and running cross country.

He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Schuster and Monica Hutchens; twelve grandchildren; sister, Gayla (Michael) Dyas; brother, Vincent Hutchens; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:45 a.m. until the time of service at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
