SPRINGFIELD, IL – William E. "B.J." Jordan, Jr., 46, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019.

He was born February 13, 1973, to William and Linda (Weller) Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jordan, Sr. and Linda McCarty; stepfather, Richard McCarty; daughter, Karaline Ann Jordan and sister, Jennifer Jordan.

B.J. was currently employed by Springfield Mass Transit. He was an avid Harley rider and enjoyed fishing with his son.

He is survived by his son, Wyatt and his mother, Amy; sisters, Lori (Scott) Dunn and Melissa (Aaron) Beard; niece, Zoey Beard; nephew, Daniel Woods; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Reverend Paul Hemenway officiating.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at 7 p.m. at Buzz Bomb Brewing, 406 East Adams Street, Springfield.
