SPRINGFIELD, IL – William J. Standage, 38, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born October 13, 1982, in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorene Standage; grandparents, William Lloyd Standage, Jr. and Sylvia I. Standage; and uncle, William Lloyd Standage, III.

Will was a Grill Master. He loved to grill and cook, go to the shooting range, and spend time with family and friends. He was an avid shoe collector. He had a great sense of humor and loved talking smack. His greatest pleasure was spoiling the children in his life.

He is survived by his life partner, Brandy Kunz; children, Analyce Standage, Adam Kunz and Brennan Weickart; aunt, "Aunt Sissy" Sylvia Beal; and cousins, Lindy (Leo) Hill and Carla (Josh) Evans.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
