Preplanning a Funeral

Every time the phone rings, do you ask yourself, "Is that another telemarketer trying to sell me something?"

Even funeral homes do it... an unwanted salesperson soliciting you about your choice of funeral home and services. Many funeral homes hire commission-based salespeople to call on you by phone, in person, or by filling your mailbox with unwanted junk mail. Often, that salesperson is only concerned about the commission he or she will receive for signing you up. The salesperson who writes your prearrangement will more than likely not be there at the time of your passing to ensure your wishes are carried out properly.

So why are we telling you this? Because we have your best interests in mind. When you make your prearrangements with Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, you will always work directly with an owner - someone who cares about your wishes and choices. Not a salesperson trying to make a better commission by selling you items you may not want or need. It only makes sense when making these important decisions to sit down with an owner - the person who will be with your family at the time of your passing to personally ensure your wishes are carried out as you selected.

We will not solicit you by phone, in person, or by mail. We feel you will know when the time is right to talk about your funeral wishes. If at any time we can assist you with any questions or concerns regarding preplanning, feel free to speak with Brian or Adrienne Murphy (the owners).
